Excellent visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it ! Great shows with the birds of prey . Staff very friendly and helpful giving you a good history of the castle and the owners. Would definitely recommendFull review by nickodp

I'm pretty sure there were dogs, in the grounds at least, there when we visited. Not sure if they'd be allowed in the castle itself.

I would choose a midweek day to visit and to go for castle opening. 10am. I think but double check.

How long should I give myself for the castle and gardens
A:
About 3 hours for castle , plenty of guided tours which are great . They start about 10 then run hourly there's a board saying when and where . If you are Hha member free to get in .

No discounts for NT or Heritage members, privately owned.
