Gdansk is teeming with WW2 sights so I was excited to see what the museum had in store. I wasn’t disappointed! This is a very modern and well laid out experience that brings you into the brutal story…Full review by Nomad37930862554

So good! A learning curve with brilliant exhibits! It’s really big and 4 hours wasn’t enough to see it all. The building is great, the audio tour worked really well. Eye opening, really well laid out…Full review by A-Ee-em-bee

Is it best to book admission before going, or is it easy to just walk in. Thanks

No need to book. Just give yourself enough time to go round the Museum.

I understand this museum is a little different as it focuses on the suffering of the people, rather than hey battles nearby. Question: full well known by the suffering of Jews and Poles, with respect, does the Museum cover Pomerania ie Danzig before, during and towards the end of the war. If the story is going to be told, it is worth a balanced presentation.

Hello, I think that the museum is open everyday but it will be opened at 10 o´clock. If it is only possible, it is handy to go to museums on Tuesdays since then all museums in town are free on charge. We visited there on Tuesday so I´m sorry that I don´t know the entrance fee. I recommend that you buy so called Metropolitan ticket. There are available 24 hour tickets and 72 hour thickets. The fees are 23 PLN and 46 PLN. With Metropolitan ticket you can travel as much you like inside the Gdansk area. You can use a train, a tram and buses. Tickets are sold at railway stations. From Gdynia you should take a train and I think that you can get to museum by taking a tram from railway station. But if not - it is about 1,5 km´s walk from railway station. Hopefully these are helping you.
