Lots of construction work being done when we visited. Like all places the area is now being developed into multiple condos. What is left of the piers is quite nice, with a few mini man made beaches…Full review by NottmFoody
Is there a splash pad or a sprinkler area for kids?

yes there is a splash pad, also a jungle gym for kids is there, as well as swings, an old tug boat [ on land ] has been kidafied for children to play on
I don't remember seeing picnic tables but there are benches close to the path and a pavilion. If you go west towards Bayfront Park, you will find picnic areas there.
I would like to know if it is open on Saturday Oct. 29th and what attractions would be open for the family (incl. seniors and younger children) to enjoy.
