Very well done museum. Very good coverage of Canadian involvement pre-war and carries right through to present day. Lots of facets are covered - from military to politics. Very informational and inte… Full review by JS J

We stayed in Courseilles sur mar do this was only a 10 minute stroll from our hotel. The good this about the museum is that is staffed by Canadian students so this was, to me, very interesting. Our g… Full review by JohnCasey29

It was a spur of the moment decision to visit & so glad we did. The displays were very informative, interesting and interactive. That alone would have been enough to make it a great experience for th… Full review by Allyn79
Planning a trip to Paris in October. It's only a short 2 1/2 days in Paris. I'd love to get to Juno Beach to show my respects and express my thanks. I def. don't want to rush the trip but time will be an issue. To get there and back from Paris and take in the sites how much time should I allocate? How much did it cost to rent a car? Tolls? etc. Any help you could give is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Michelin online route planner estimates 3 1/2 hours each way which may be high but is in the ball park according to our experience. It's going to be roughly 7 hours driving. It indicates 22 euros each way for tolls which is line with our general experience. It would be a long day and a long drive . It might be worth checking for a day excursion from Paris . That way you could sleep en route.
We are on a Cruise docking at Le Havre on Sunday, April 30th - We want to tour Juno Beach and we're thinking of renting a car but they all seem to be closed on Sunday. Also Viator tours are very expensive for car & Guide. do you have any suggestions?

Ross, sorry I can't help, I'm from the UK and we took our car across so didn't encounter the challenge you face. I wonder, though, if you'd thought of contacting the Juno centre to see if they have any suggestions, they may have come across this before and can offer a suitable solution. Sorry I can't help, but I do hope you can make it to Juno, I've been twice with my wife and have found it to be a very thought provoking experience. Best wishes and safe travels Roger
We will be coming to Caen via train mid morning. Wondering if our best bet to get to Juno Beach is a taxi? Is it easy to find a taxi, and will they be available for the return trip as well?

Not really Normandy is better by car, and usually there's rain in that area, lots to see in the area!
Hi..fellow Canuck here..are there guides one can hire for a more personalized tour of the area around the museum and the beach? TY, Scott

Yes, there were tours of the beach available if you chose. It wasn't private but there were about a dozen people we saw on a tour. I'm sure the Centre could provide more information.
