It is recommended to book these tours in advance, since the guide makes himself available according to reservations made. Usually the tours can be booked for durations of 3 hours or half days. I used: MV Dineh Bekeyah Tours which departs from The View Hotel in Monument Valley. 928-409 0088. My Guide was a fine Native American named John. Hope this helps.
