LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A large protest has shut down roads in the downtown Las Vegas area Saturday evening. Las Vegas police said in a social media post that Las Vegas Boulevard at Bonneville and Clark Avenues is closed due to the ‘No Kings’ demonstration.

Organizers of Reno’s protest estimate 9,000 attended the rally outside Rep. Mark Amodei’s office on Kietzke Lane.

Protests are planned for 1,800 communities nationwide on June 14, including more than 200 in California, the same day President Donald Trump holds a military parade in Washington, D.C.
