Arkansas State Parks - PHOTO: New York City resident Micherre Fox found a 2.3-carat diamond at an Arkansas state park for her engagement ring. At first, she thought it might be a dew-covered spiderweb, but when the shine didn't fade, she nudged it with her boot and picked it up.

While most couple's have a great proposal story, it seems that Micherre Fox's engagement ring will have it's own tale to tell for years to come.

Talk about a diamond in the rough. It's a gem of a find for New Yorker who went in search of a diamond for her future engagement ring. West Village resident Micherre Fox, 31, went to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas for three weeks specifically to dig for diamonds.
