North Carolina Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick is not shy about referring to past greats when showing his new team how to get things done. Belichick revealed in a recent interview that he has shown highlight tapes of past New England Patriots players as a teaching tool for his current players.

Tom Brady was honored earlier this month with a 12-foot bronze statue in front of Gillette Stadium. While the former New England Patriots quarterback certainly deserves it, one of Brady’s longtime teammates hopes to see another statue. But not of a player. Devin McCourty would love one of Bill Belichick.
