The Chicago Bears spent the first NFL draft pick of Ben Johnson's tenure as head coach on tight end Colston Loveland out of Michigan.

According to a panel of NFL analysts, Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland was listed as a favorite fit of the draft and potential Rookie of The Year after being paired with USC Trojans’ former Heisman Trophy winner,

The Chicago Bears kicked off rookie minicamp Friday, where the team's rookie draft picks, undrafted signings and tryout players all took to the field at Halas Hall. While tight end Colston Loveland was in attendance, he wasn't 100 percent as he recovers from a shoulder injury.
