Heading into the 2025 NFL draft, Colorado standout wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter was expected to be picked No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars had other plans in mind.

Travis Hunter will be wearing a familiar number as a rookie in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars announced their rookie numbers Friday morning, with Hunter set to rock the same No. 12 he wore at the University of Colorado. Hunter's No. 12 is now retired at Colorado after he won the Heisman Trophy last season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars got a steal when they traded up to get Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter. Hunter arrived in Duval on Friday for rookie minicamp, which was 24 hours after participating in the commencement ceremony in Boulder.
