While Rafael Devers and the Boston Red Sox want to put the slugger’s departure behind them, a franchise legend is not letting go quite as easily.

The Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers away and certainly got a good look at him This past weekend in his new threads. Boston lost two of its three matchups against the San Francisco Giants and Devers launched a homer against his old team.

MLB insider Bob Nightengale of USA Today says if Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas had never gotten hurt, Rafael Devers would still be on the team.
