A couple who were killed at Devil’s Den State Park on Saturday, July 26, were hiking with their two daughters when they were attacked. The girls, who are 7 and 9, were not injured and are safe with family members.
Arkansas state police are investigating a double homicide in Devil’s Den State Park and looking for the suspect who is still at large. A 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were found dead on a walking trail about 2:40 p.m. on July 26, state police said. The case is being investigated as a pair of suspected homicides.
