Stefano Vukov is refusing to simply accept the WTA ban as Elena Rybakina's coach is appealing his suspension, via The Athletic.

Stefano Vukov, former coach of 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, has launched an appeal against the one-year suspension handed to him by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) over alleged abusive conduct. The WTA issued the ban in February 2025 after concluding an investigation into claims of verbal and psychological abuse toward Rybakina.

Vukov as per The Athletic is looking to overturn his ban after being suspended by the tour for breaching its code of conduct and is now in private arbitration with the WTA. He has gone this route as disputes must be resolved in this manner over in court.
