A "member of the military" allegedly made a false bomb threat on board a Hawaiian Airlines flight that was preparing to take off from San Diego, police say.
A 35-year-old Navy sailor was traveling under official orders to participate in a scheduled training exercise in Hawaii when he made bomb threats on Tuesday.
An Hawaiian Airlines flight was grounded Tuesday morning at San Diego International Airport after a bomb threat, according to San Diego Harbor Police. SDHPD and other responding agencies investigated the threat and found nothing suspicious on the aircraft.
