The student, a junior whose name hasn't been released, had been in the country since he was 5 years old, a school administrator said.

A Milford High School student who has been detained by ICE since last weekend was recently moved from a field office holding cell into solitary confinement, his lawyers said Wednesday night.

Marcelo Gomes, the Milford, Massachusetts high school student currently detained by ICE, had an expired student visa, his attorney said.
