The Minnesota Wild added an aging All-Star in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings on Monday. The Wild swapped future considerations for 33-year-old Vladimir Tarasenko, the team announced.

Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired right wing Vladimir Tarasenko from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for future considerations.

I heard a lot of good things from Kirill when I talked with him about the team and the group,” said Tarasenko, who is 33 and coming off one of the quieter offensive seasons of his career.
