Zach Pop signed a one-year contract with the New York Mets and joined their bullpen Saturday before a Subway Series game against the Yankees.

Nimmo and the Mets will face a tough lefty in Carlos Rodón during the second game of the Subway Series against the Yankees. Though Nimmo hits for more power against right-handers, he is actually a better hitter for average against southpaws, hitting .263 over his career against lefties versus .260 against righties.

Subway Series continues this weekend when the New York Mets host the crosstown rival New York Yankees for three games at Citi Field. It is potentially a World Series preview, though neither team has looked the part of a World Series contender the last 3-4 weeks.
