The first pick of the second round, Schwesinger was a big draft riser coming off a strong final year at UCLA. He has the potential to handle the WILL role if Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah's injury keeps him out. Schwesinger can also play some MLB with his strong football IQ and open-field tackling.

Vardell was known as “Touchdown Tommy” in college, and was solid during his first two seasons with Cleveland, logging 1,013 yards on 270 carries and three touchdowns. His final two seasons, however, were limited by injuries and resulted in 19 carries through 10 games.

In a different vein, Cleveland is not putting Sanders, whom the New York Giants passed on as their franchise QB, in the best position to succeed early in his career thanks to competition. This offseason, they’ve added three other new quarterbacks: Joe Flacco (signing), Kenny Pickett (trade) and Dillon Gabriel (draft, third round).
