Twenty-nine shows on Broadway received nominations this season. Winners were announced during the 78th Tony Awards on Sunday at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.

Many of the shows powering Broadway’s comeback are up for major honors. “Death Becomes Her,” a campy adaptation of the cult 1992 movie, “Maybe Happy Ending,” the story of two robots who forge a deep connection, and “Buena Vista Social Club,” a look at a group of Cuban musicians, were this year’s most nominated shows with 10 nods apiece.
