ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A busy road in Avondale Estates has reopened after being closed Thursday afternoon because a construction crew struck a gas line, according to city officials.
The Avondale Estates City Commission at its March 12 meeting approved a contract for the first phase of a project to upgrade Fletcher Park and discussed potential changes to bulk waste pickups.
