Carnforth’s first ever 1940s weekend will be held on June 28 and June 29 and will be celebrating 80 years of the film "Brief Encounter" which was filmed at Carnforth station.
A railway heritage centre in Lancashire where scenes from the classic film Brief Encounter was filmed is set to close.
Carnforth Heritage Centre, located within a working railway station, is famously featured in the classic 1945 film Brief Encounter directed by David Lean and starring Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard.
