Moderna announced this weekend that the Food and Drug Administration approved its lower-dose Covid-19 vaccine for adults 65 and older.

In a crucial development, the FDA has approved Moderna's new COVID-19 vaccine designed specifically for high-risk Americans. This marks the first vaccine endorsement since the administration imposed stricter vaccine eligibility criteria and approval processes.

The FDA will no longer recommend annual COVID vaccinations for healthy people younger than 65. This means that if you are under 65 and considerably healthy, you will not be eligible to receive the yearly vaccine.
