Lincoln Public Schools canceled school Wednesday with a winter storm set to bring blizzard conditions to the area.

Lincoln Public Schools students will get to extend their vacation. The students, who have been out of school since Monday because of a two-day break for Presidents Day, will also get a third day off.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Public Schools announced that classes will be canceled Thursday due to the extreme cold. All LPS elementary and middle school activities have been canceled or postponed.
