Michigan, represented by Great Lakes Regional champion Taylor North Little League, will face Honolulu, Hawaii Saturday in a rematch of Wednesday's meeting between the two, a 2-0 Hawaii win.

Now, Michigan's Taylor North is in the LLWS championship game after knocking off Hawaii (Honolulu), 2-1, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in the championship game of the Hank Aaron bracket.

Michigan's Hamtramck National Little League won it all in the state's lone appearance in 1959. Ohio, powered by a four-run second inning, defeated South Dakota 5-2 in Saturday's Tom Seaver Final.

On Sunday, Michigan's Taylor North defeated Ohio's Hamilton West Side in the Little League World Series final, earning the 2021 championship by a score of 5-2.
