County District Attorney’s office cleared law enforcement officers involved in four recent shootings of criminal liability, finding their actions against the armed

The White House has terminated San Diego-area U.S. Attorney Tara McGrath, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California said Wednesday.

San Diego-area U.S. Attorney Tara McGrath was removed from her role Wednesday evening, emailing the federal prosecutors in her office that she was “informed by the White House this afternoon that my tenure as U.S. Attorney has come to an end, effective today.”

Two weeks before Donald Trump was inaugurated, McGrath highlighted her office's role in prosecuting January 6 riot defendants.
