One ticket sold in California won the $1.22 billion jackpot in Friday's Mega Millions drawing. A ticket sold in Arlington, Texas won a $1 million prize. 472,789 tickets sold in Texas won some sort of prize, according to the Texas Lottery.

Check your tickets! According to the Texas Lottery, 331,398 tickets sold in the Lone Star State won some sort of prize in Tuesday night's drawing.

“We know that many people will likely receive tickets to Friday’s drawing as holiday gifts, and what a gift that would turn out to be if you ended up with a ticket worth a $1.15 billion jackpot,” Joshua Johnston, lead director for the Mega Millions Consortium, said in a news release before the jackpot rose again to $1.22 billion.
