A ground stop has been issued at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport due to the threat of severe weather. According to the FAA, all flights set to depart for O’Hare are being held at their respective airports, with that delay currently expected to last until approximately 8 p.m.
The flood watch is in effect until 7 a.m. Friday for Cook County, the collar counties and the majority of northern Illinois, according to the National Weather Service.
