Resident Evil Requiem reveals Grace Ashcroft as its true protagonist, not Leon Kennedy
When Capcom first revealed Resident Evil Requiem in Summer Game Fest 2025 earlier this month, Grace Ashcroft–who might just be the daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft–was front and center. She is an FBI agent tasked with investigating a series of mysterious deaths, which ties into the incident at Raccoon City.
The new entry in the series has been a very long time coming, with Resident Evil Village releasing four years ago in 2021.
Capcom reveals that Resident Evil Requiem could have been very different before it was returned to the single-player format.
