Officials with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) said service on the Green Line will likely remain out of service through the Memorial Day holiday weekend, as crews continue to repair damage from Tuesday's fire in San Leandro.

BART's green line will be out of service through at least Memorial Day due to a fire at the San Leandro station earlier this week, officials announced Thursday. That means the route, which runs through The City as it connects Daly City and San Jose, will have been out of commission for at least a week.
