Ankeny, said he will introduce a bill in the Iowa General Assembly to purchase the bottom nine counties of Minnesota and make them part of Iowa.

He wants to “make Minnesota Iowa again” by buying the nine most southernmost counties in the state. Sen. Mike Bousselot says they’re working on a bill to make an offer to their northern neighbor.
