Marner ranked in the 77th percentile (60.2 percent) among forwards in that category last season, was in the 91st percentile (62.2 percent) at his position in 2022-23 and finished fifth among all players in the entire NHL in 2021-22 (63.6 percent).

Mitch Marner is going to Vegas, after the Golden Knights made another major move to add a big-time player, snatching up the top pending free agent before the rest of the NHL got the opportunity.
