Evansville's local protest is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Federal Courthouse at 101 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Organizing groups are Indivisible Evansville with Evansville Resistance. The protest will feature speakers on social justice, a representative from the Vanderburgh County Democratic Party and more.

Hundreds came out in the rain in Evansville, the Courier & Press reported, to protest outside the Winfield K. Denton Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse. Two advocacy groups, Indivisible Evansville and Evansville Resistance, organized the protest.

No Kings protests are planned across the Tri-State, including in Evansville, Owensboro and Henderson. Evansville Police are preparing for tomorrow’s event. They say they respect the right to protest.
