Michigan native and Lloyd Carr’s grandson CJ Carr named starting QB at Notre Dame
CJ is the grandson of former longtime Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr and son of former Michigan football player Jason Carr. CJ was a three-time all-state quarterback at Saline High School and chose to go to Notre Dame over Michigan and other offers. Carr will start in Notre Dame’s opener on Aug. 31 at No. 10 Miami.
Carr, the grandson of former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr, will make his debut when the Irish open at Miami on Aug. 31.
