The Blazers introduced the 7-foot-1 center on Friday after making him the No. 16 selection during Wednesday's NBA draft.

The center was considered by draft analysts as a rising prospect, but no one projected him to be a first-round pick.

Hansen was the 16th overall pick, and said he was surprised to be picked as high as he was. Hansen, from China, did speak a little English, but used a translator for most of the questions. Hansen told reporters he likes to play PS5, eat, and sleep.
