According to ESPN’s Sarah Barshop, Stafford is set to go through a similar workout on Saturday prior to the team’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Rams will hope his back responds a little better.

Matthew Stafford will go through another lengthy workout Saturday to test his injured back before the Los Angeles Rams' second preseason game. Coach Sean McVay said the 37-year-old quarterback will do much the same workout he did last Saturday before the Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium.

Matthew Stafford, who hasn't practiced in Rams training camp because a back injury, will take part in another workout similar to the one he had last week.
