The New York Knicks are opting for a patient approach in their coaching search to find a replacement for Tom Thibodeau after the team parted ways with him following a run to the Eastern Conference finals.

Mike Brown will have a second meeting with the Knicks for their head coaching job and has emerged as a strong candidate, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Monday.

The Knicks' head-coaching search continues with Taylor Jenkins, Mike Brown, and Micah Nori all still reportedly in the mix for the position.
