The Minnesota Frost tied the Walter Cup Finals at 1-1 on Thursday night thanks to a pair of goals from Bismarck native Britta Curl-Salemme. She scored both of the Frost’s goals in a 2-1 win.Curl-Salemme scored her first goal of the game with less than 16 seconds remaining on the clock in regulation to tie the contest.

Ottawa is a perfect 3-0 on home ice through the playoffs. The Frost have never won Game 1 of a playoff series in four attempts.

After Minnesota dominated the third period and the early stretches of overtime, Emily Clark picked up an ill-advised Frost drop pass in the defensive zone and went coast-to-coast.
