Paige Bueckers essentially responded to criticism from fellow WNBA star Sophie Cunningham with a shrug. Following the Indiana Fever’s one-point loss to Bueckers and the Dallas Wings earlier this week, Cunningham publicly lamented what she believed were favorable calls for the former UConn point guard.

Dallas Wings rookie sensation Paige Bueckers is the heavy favorite to take home the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. A lot of sportsbooks even pulled down the odds because they just expect Bueckers to run away with it.

That being said, the WNBA took to social media to share a major announcement about Bueckers on Monday. In their post, the league announced that Bueckers has been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month for the month of July.
