The Columbus Blue Jackets are going to be without centre Sean Monahan for longer than initially expected. Columbus announced Saturday that Monahan is expected to be sidelined for an additional six to eight weeks with the wrist injury he suffered against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 7.
According to Aaron Portzline of The Athletic, Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Monahan (wrist) is expected to be sidelined until mid-March after facing a setback. Monahan suffered this injury during their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins in January.
