So is Paul George (groin), after the Sixers said Monday that he would miss the game in Toronto as he continues to consult with physicians.
Wednesday marks the fifth game in a row that Maxey will miss due to due to a lower back sprain and finger sprain. The fifth-year guard has recently progressed to on-court activities, and his next opportunity to return is Friday against the Pacers.
According to the latest 76ers' injury update, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey could both miss some more time due to their respective issues.
