This is the first Suns-Bulls matchup this season. They will meet again March 19 in Phoenix. Phoenix continues its road trip Sunday at Toronto for a 4 p.m. game Sunday before concluding it Tuesday at Memphis.
Tyus Jones moved to Suns bench, replaced by Bradley Beal
In the midst of a four-game losing streak, Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer decided a change was needed ahead of their Saturday matchup against the Chicago Bulls and move point guard Tyus Jones to the bench and inserted Bradley Beal into the starting lineup.
Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal returns to starting lineup, replacing Tyus Jones
Suns coach Mike Budenholzer benched Beal back on Jan. 6 at Philadelphia and replaced him with rookie Ryan Dunn. Beal hadn't come off the bench since his fourth NBA season in 2015-16, but is now back in the starting lineup along with Devin Booker, Royce O'Neale, Kevin Durant and Nick Richards.
Suns' Bradley Beal: Back in starting lineup
Beal is in the Suns' starting lineup against the Bulls on Saturday. Beal was moved to a reserve role in early January, but he'll return to the starting lineup Saturday while Tyus Jones comes off the bench.
