A swimming pool will close for five weeks because a floor which was relaid following a multi-million pound refurbishment, is still too slippery.

Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, in Kingsway, has a free form pool with a beach/sloped entry and boasts a wave machine, aqua slide and adjoining toddler/baby pool. The main pool is 25m with six lanes.

Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park is a Haven site whose bookings are managed through Hoseasons. A three-night stay for up to six people costs from £535 in August or from £219 in September.
