The Conservatives have lost control of Derbyshire Dales District Council after 24 years in charge and for only the second time in 48 years, with the Liberal Democrats now the largest party.
The candidates for two Derbyshire council by-elections have been announced. There are two vacancies which need to be filled on Derbyshire Dales District Council in the Bakewell and Norbury wards.
