One player who has been a constant for them all season was Tyrese Maxey. The star guard showed up to play every nigh in order to lead this group, and he deserves a ton of credit for doing so, but a back injury suffered in a March 3 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers has caused him to miss the previous four games.

"He came out for walk-through with no tape on [his finger]," coach Nick Nurse said. "I said, 'Where’s the tape?' And he said, 'Forget that tape, man.' I said, 'Feeling better?' He said, 'Nope.'"
