Russia has likely launched several strategic bombers into the sky, as missile strikes were carried out against Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. At approximately 04:05 AM Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of cruise missiles from the Bryansk region toward the Chernihiv region.

The attack used almost 500 drones and missiles, breaking a record set just days earlier, as Russia tries to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defenses, which shot down most of the weapons.

Russia launched 479 drones at Ukraine in the war’s biggest overnight drone bombardment, the Ukrainian air force said.
