Rutgers forward Ace Bailey is reportedly seen "as more of a project" by NBA personnel than Baylor wing VJ Edgecombe, per Sam Vecenie of The Athletic.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have had a rough season despite having two top-five prospects on the roster. Likewise, Rutgers forward Ace Bailey had an up and down season which reveals both his strengths and his concerning weaknesses.

The top two selections in the draft are expected to be Cooper Flagg (No. 1) and Dylan Harper (No. 2). That leaves the Sixers with the likes of Ace Bailey, VJ Edgecombe, Tre Johnson, and others who will be selected No. 3 on draft night.
