ESPN is proposing one final offseason move for the Chicago Bears, which would reunite Ben Johnson with a former player.

With the arrival of new head coach Ben Johnson, he added an experienced defensive coordinator (and former head coach) in Dennis Allen to lead the defense. There are plenty of established veterans in place, led by cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon, defensive end Montez Sweat and linebackers T.J. Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds.

The defense has seen its fair share of upgrades, too. And as the 2025 season inches closer, this Bears roster is receiving some early recognition. Two of its players -- Joe Thuney and Jaylon Johnson -- were recently ranked on Pete Prisco's Top 100 players entering the season.
