Munroe led off the eighth by reaching on an error by Arizona shortstop Mason White. King and Tague Davis followed with consecutive singles, setting up Rose's RBI hit.

The Chanticleers have enjoyed a charmed spell as of late, vanquishing 24 straight foes en route to a second appearance in the College World Series. Their latest win proved dramatic — after locking horns with Arizona for the better part of seven innings, Kevin Schnall's side burst things open with a three-run outburst in the eighth.
The Arizona Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals meet up in Omaha on Sunday with their NCAA Men’s College World Series hopes on the line in the first elimination game of the tournament. Both teams had high hopes coming into the Men’s College World Series, but found themselves on the losing end of a couple of tough battles.
Gavin Turley hit a walk-off double to give his team a 4-3 win after the Beavers blew a two-run lead in the top of the ninth. Aiva Arquette, one of the top prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft, set it up with a one-out single, then motored first-to-home on Turley's line drive into left field.
