Amid a national sweep over student visas that has hit colleges across the U.S., the Trump administration on Friday canceled more than a dozen international student visas at the University of California — including UCLA and UC San Diego — and Stanford University.

The Trump administration has stripped several current and former international students at Central Michigan University of their legal residency without notifying either the university or the students themselves,

The cancelations come in the midst of a widespread crackdown against students federal officials contend are acting against national interests.
