Davis, the anchor of "ABC News Live Prime With Linsey Davis" and weekend anchor of "World News Tonight," shared her health journey Monday in a conversation with singer Tamar Braxton and model and actress Cynthia Bailey -- two women who have also spoken publicly about having uterine fibroids -- in hopes of helping even more women.

"ABC News" anchor Linsey Davis says she has faced a painful, yearslong battle uterine fibroids, or muscular tumors that grow in the uterus or womb.

Davis is the 47-year-old anchor of the Sunday edition of "World News Tonight" as well as a correspondent for "Good Morning America" and "20/20."
